Employers can register online for their unemployment account using MyUI Employer+. Employers will receive their Colorado unemployment tax ID within 10 business days of completing the online application.

Colorado offers out-of-state businesses to submit an online application to register their business for a withholding account with MyBizColorado. This option may require that you register your business with the Secretary of State (SOS), and there may be a fee associated with it when you register.
Another option available for out-of-state employers registering for a withholding account is submitting a completed Wage Withholding Account Application (CR 0100).
You can email the completed CR 0100 to dor_taxapplications@state.co.us.
