Fingercheck's biometric clocks are often purchased as add-on clocks by businesses who have purchased our clocks in the past. When this is done, the new clocks come in with no record or knowledge of what's present on the existing clocks. Syncing existing fingerprints with a new clock is a simple process within Fingercheck.

Sync a new clock or send fingerprints to another clock

  1. Log into Fingercheck as an Administrator.

  2. Download the fingerprints:

    1. Click the EMPLOYEES tab.

    2. Select the checkboxes for each employee who you want to sync with the clock.

    3. Click the Quick Actions button (hamburger icon), and select Download Biometrics.

    4. In the pop-up window that appears, select the clocks you want to download the fingerprints from, and click Download.

    5. In the confirmation pop-up window, click OK.

  3. Send the employees to the clocks:

    1. Make sure the same employees are selected.

    2. Click the Quick Actions button (hamburger icon), and select Send Employees to Clock.

    3. In the pop-window that appears, select the clocks you want to send the information to, and click Send.

    4. In the confirmation pop-up window, click OK.

  4. Send the fingerprints to the clock:

    1. Click the Quick Actions button (hamburger icon), and select Send Biometrics to Clock.

    2. In the pop-window that appears, select the clocks you want to send the information to, and click Send.

    3. In the confirmation pop-up window, click OK.
