If your employee would rather use a password and RFID card to clock in, or if they're having difficulty clocking in using their fingerprint (see tips for better fingerprint recognition), no problem! It takes just a few seconds to enroll in their RFID card and create a password.

Please note that RFID cards are exclusively available for employees to clock in and out using the TA200+ and Face ID 5 time clocks.

For more details about setting up these clocks check out:

Enroll an RFID card and create a password

  1. Log in to Fingercheck as an Administrator.

  2. Click the EMPLOYEES tab, and select the employee to open their profile.

  3. Under Personal, click Clock Info.

  4. Click the Edit icon (pencil) in the top-right corner.

  5. In the Card Number field, the RFID card lists a number that starts with four zeros that you will ignore, and only enter the remaining numbers.

  6. In the Clock Password field, enter a password of numbers.

  7. Click Save.

  8. After the page reloads, click the Action menu (hamburger icon) in the top-right corner, and select Send Employee To Clock.

  9. Click Save.

Now, your employee can swipe their RFID card at the clock, enter their password, and successfully clock in.

Watch a short video on how set up your employees with the RFID card number and password so they can swipe their card to clock in.
