No one wants to punch out only to be stopped by the realization that their company time clock is dead. Managers can keep Fingercheck time clocks from powering off by enabling a setting called Auto-Power, which prevents the clocks from powering off. This setting saves a lot of time, and once enabled, allows your employees to punch in and out at any time, day or night.

The time clocks that has the Auto-Power setting are the TA100C, AC100C, TA200+ (FEM800: menu background is blue).

How to enable Auto-Power on your time clock

  1. Press the Menu button.

  2. Use the right arrow to navigate to System and press OK.

  3. Use the arrows to navigate to Misc. Set and press OK.

  4. Use the down arrow to navigate to the AUTO POWER field and press OK.

  5. Use the right arrow to change the field from Off to On and press OK.

  6. Press OK to save your changes.
