Fingercheck offers many exception types that flag many kinds of abnormal punches, whether missing in or out punches, unscheduled punches, or over/under-hour punches. These exception types work with your employees' schedule policy to determine when to trigger them. To avoid inundating your screen with information you don't need, you can set up the exception policy to tell Fingercheck which ones you want to use.
Exceptions will appear in a few places within Fingercheck, including your main dashboard, on the employee's time cards, and some reports.

Set the schedule policy and master profile for exceptions
For your exception policy to take effect and be useful, make sure that the employee's schedule policy is set up properly.
Specifically, in the Window fields (shown below), specify how many minutes before or after the scheduled start and end time should be flagged as an exception.
After you have set your limits, the system will know when to trigger an exception according to the minute window times you have set. For more information, see How to Create a Schedule Policy.
Once you've checked over your schedule policy, open your employees' profile (on the EMPLOYEES tab) to verify whether the start date of their master profile (at Personal > Profile) matches the start date of your exception policy.
