How to Change a User's Password

Using Fingercheck, changing a password is a quick process.

This article describes how you can change a security user's password and an employee's password.


Change an Employee's Password

  1. Log in to your Fingercheck account as an Administrator.

  2. Click the EMPLOYEES tab, and click the employee's number to open their profile.

  3. Select Self Service, and click the Edit icon (pencil) in the top-right corner.

  4. Click the Click to edit user link that appears.

  5. In the Edit User pop-up window, enter the new password in the Password field.

  6. Click Save.

  1. Log in to your Fingercheck account as an Administrator.

  2. Click the SETUP tab > Security > Security Users.

  3. Click the user's name to open the user details.

  4. In the Password field, enter the new password.

  5. Scroll down the page and click Save.
