Proper time tracking is crucial for any business, and it is especially important when it comes to payroll. Inaccurate or incomplete time tracking can lead to overpayments, underpayments, and potential legal issues. Therefore, it is crucial to ensure that your payroll software is set up correctly, including the correct time zones. This will help ensure accurate attendance tracking and payroll management.

One of the primary reasons why setting up the correct time zone is important is the Live Status page. This page shows the real-time status of your employees’ attendance, including clock-in and clock-out times. Without the correct time zone set, the Live Status page will show incorrect data, which can cause confusion and errors in payroll management. By ensuring that your payroll software is set up correctly, you can have confidence in the accuracy of the Live Status page.
