Processing payroll is a critical task for any business, ensuring that employees are accurately compensated for their work. While it may seem daunting, following a structured process can streamline the payroll process and minimize errors. In this article, we'll provide a step-by-step approach to processing payroll effectively.

  14. To add an additional check or edit an employee’s check, click the hamburger icon next to their name, and select an option from the menu that appears.

The edit check screen allows you more options to set up an individual employee’s check. These options include blocking scheduled earnings and deductions, direct deposit, employee taxes, and labor allocation.

  15. Click Next from the Payroll Entry screen to continue.

  16. Click OK to continue to the payroll preview.

  17. Preview Payroll: Review the total amount of money you will pay your employees.
