Your Fingercheck dashboard is the central hub for navigating your employee portal. Whether you're a seasoned user or just getting started, this article is your guide to unlocking the full potential of your Fingercheck dashboard. This article will guide you through an exploration of the key features and functionalities available on your dashboard, ensuring you get the most out of your Fingercheck experience.

Dashboard

Upon logging in to your employee portal, you will see the main dashboard showing your last paycheck details and current pay period hours.

For security purposes, we hide the check details. You can view the check details by clicking the eye icon.

Check out our article, Understanding Your Pay Stub for a breakdown of the pay stub.

Time off accruals, requests, and exceptions

The employee dashboard also makes paid time off (PTO) information available. You can view time off accruals showing the total hours accrued or allowed, how much you have used, and your current PTO balance.

Time off request shows your PTO requests and whether that time has been approved or declined.

General requests are a way to send a note to your supervisor through Fingercheck. Your company admin must set up general requests in Fingercheck to make this feature available to you.

Exceptions are related to your time card that may require attention from your supervisor or admin to resolve. A few items that are considered exceptions are clocking in early or late, missing a punch, or punching in for work when you were not scheduled.

Reports, quick links, shared documents, and birthday and anniversary

The remaining sections of the dashboard allow your employer to share important information with you.

Reports are available for your supervisor or company admin to share any payroll and benefits-related reports for you to view. Don’t worry if you don’t see any reports listed; you will only have access to a report if your supervisor or admin decides to share one with you.

Shared documents are forms or documents your employer shares with you. This would be a good place to view workplace posters, handbooks, or any information your employer shares.

Birthdays and anniversaries are a great way to celebrate employees. This space allows you to stay connected with your teammates.

Quick links are shared by your employer for you to have quick access to information about your work, job, or industry.

Pending tasks

Pending tasks are tasks that your employer is requiring you to complete. These tasks include completing forms and entering your information, such as your phone number and email address.

View your current and completed tasks by selecting pending tasks in the upper right-hand corner of your Fingercheck dashboard.

Complete a pending task by selecting the link.

Service Desk

The Service Desk is a Fingercheck resource center available from your employee dashboard. Click the Service Desk tag on the right side of the employee dashboard to instantly access tools such as signing up for a Fingercheck PayCard, system tours, the knowledge base, and the paycheck calculator.
