If you've recently signed up for a Fingercheck account, this guide will walk you through the steps to access your account, whether you're using the web browser or the mobile app.
Setting up your Fingercheck account
Sign up: To begin, complete the account setup process by providing the necessary information. Once done, the system will automatically log you into your newly created account.
Additional administrators and supervisors: If you're an additional admin or supervisor, you can expect to receive an email from the admin containing login instructions and temporary credentials. Followed by another email to reset your password for added security.
Logging in to Fingercheck via web browser:
Open your web browser and go to app.fingercheck.com (we recommend Google Chrome.)
Enter your credentials: On the login page, enter your username, password, and company code (if required).
Choose your role: Select the appropriate login option based on your role as a supervisor or admin.
Remember me: To simplify future logins, you can choose the "Remember Me" option to have your computer store your login credentials.
Click "Login": Once you've entered the necessary details, click the "Login" button to access your Fingercheck account.
Two-factor authentication (2FA): For added security, you will be prompted to enter a 2FA code, usually sent to your registered email address.
Trust device: If you're using a trusted device, you can select the "Trust Device" option to skip the 2FA process for future logins on that device.
Logging in to Fingercheck via the mobile app:
Download and install: Get the Fingercheck mobile app from your app store (available for iOS and Android) and install it on your device.
Open the app: Tap on the Fingercheck app icon to launch the app.
Enter your credentials: Input your username, password, and company code (if required) in the provided fields.
Choose your role: Select the appropriate login option as a supervisor or admin, based on your role.
Remember me: To have the app store your login credentials for future sessions, toggle on the "Remember Me" option.
Tap "Login": Tap the "Login" button to access your Fingercheck account.
Two-factor authentication: For enhanced security, you'll receive a 2FA code sent to your registered email address. Enter the code when prompted in the app.
Trust device: Optionally, enable the "Trust Device" feature if you want your mobile device to be remembered for future logins without requiring a code.
Logging out of Fingercheck:
Web browser: To log out from the web browser, click on your profile photo in the top-left corner and select "Log Out" from the menu.
Mobile app: To log out from the mobile app, tap on your profile photo or the menu icon on the top-left corner, then select "Log Out" from the menu.
