If you have trouble with a modem you received from Fingercheck to set up your time clock, check out these tips.

Note: If you have a T-Mobile SIM card, replace the card with an AT&T SIM card.
The T-Mobile cards no longer connected to the T-Mobile network.

How to troubleshoot your modem

  1. Find the password on the back of your modem.

  2. Plug the modem directly into a PC or laptop and look behind it for IP address 192.168.5.1 and the password.

  3. Allow the modem to fully power on.

  4. Plug in the Ethernet cable.

  5. Open a web browser and go to 192.168.5.1.

  6. To sign in, enter the password on the modem and then click the sign-in button.

    A pop-up window shows "AT&T."

  7. Click Submit.

The modem light will turn from red to green.

If you do not see a Submit button, there is a small Connect button in the top-left corner. Click this button to connect the modem to the SIM card, and the light will turn from red to green.
