Your employees can send requests and label them with request types. After the request is submitted, an email notification is sent to you (the supervisor) and the request populates in your online dashboard and the General Requests tab of the mobile app. The only thing you need to do as a supervisor is to create request types your employees can select from.

How to add a general request type

  1. Log in to your Fingercheck account as an Administrator.

  2. Click the SETUP tab > System > Request Types.

  3. Click Add.

  4. In the Code field, enter an abbreviated name for the request type.

In combination with the Description field, this makes up the full name of the schedule as displayed in other areas of Fingercheck.

  5. In the Description field, enter a short descriptive name for the request type.

  6. (Optional) From the Exception Policy drop-down list, select an exception policy (for example, to remove the exception from the time card if approved).

  7. Ignore the Action Type field (for future use).

  8. Click Save.
