Employees: How to View and Request PTO

Employee's can view and request PTO/Vacation Time

Employees can keep track of their paid time off (PTO) when they log in to their employee portal. In addition to tracking PTO, you can also submit a PTO request for your supervisor or admin to approve.


View and request PTO on the web application

From the dashboard

  1. Log in to Fingercheck on app.fingercheck.com.

  2. Within the Dashboard, view your currently available balance under Time Off Accruals.

  3. Click the plus sign (+) in the Time off request section.

  4. Complete the fields on the pages that appear, clicking Next to move to the next page.

  5. At the end of the process, click Request Absence.

From the MY ACCOUNT tab

  1. Log in to Fingercheck on app.fingercheck.com.

  2. Click the MY ACCOUNT tab.

  3. Click Request Time Off.

  4. Complete the fields on the pages that appear, clicking Next to move to the next page.

  5. At the end of the process, click Request Absence.


View and request PTO on the mobile application

  1. Log in to the Fingercheck Mobile app as an employee.

  2. Tap the hamburger icon to open the menu.

  3. Tap TIME OFF.

  4. On the Time Off screen, tap the REQUEST TIME OFF button.

  5. Complete the fields on the screens that appear, tapping Continue to move to the next screen.

  6. At the end of the process, tap Submit.

How to check the status of your PTO request

From the dashboard

  1. Log in to Fingercheck on app.fingercheck.com.

  2. Within the Dashboard, under the Time Off Request section, you'll see your requests and their statuses

From the Mobile App

  1. Log in to the Fingercheck Mobile app as an employee.

  2. Tap the hamburger icon to open the menu.

  3. Tap TIME OFF.

  4. Click "View All requests"

  5. You'll see all your requests under one of the following sections: Pending, Scheduled, Used, Declined
    โ€‹
