If your work constantly requires you to be on the go, use the Fingercheck Mobile app to punch in wherever you are. GPS tracking makes sure your punch locations are always accounted for, and you can even submit punch details like Jobs, Tasks, and Departments.
You can download and install this app from Apple's App Store or Google's Play Store on any Apple or Android device. Simply search for Fingercheck Mobile. (Do not confuse this app with Fingercheck Time Clock, which is a separate app for public-use tablet devices).
Note: If your company has a geo fencing policy, make sure that your mobile device allows location services.
How to punch in with the mobile app
Enter your username, password, and company code.
The login screen may not ask for a company code. This simply means you are the only person with that username across all of Fingercheck.
If you see Log In As options, select EMPLOYEE.
Tap Remember Me to save your user information.
Tap the punch bar at the bottom to open the Punch Screen.
Alternatively, tap the hamburger icon in the top-left corner, and tap Punch.
On the Punch screen, tap IN to punch in.
To transfer a punch to a different job if you're already logged in, tap TRANSFER. Then, your punch location is displayed with the punch date and time. If your employer requires you to select specific information like Jobs and Departments, you'll also see that here.
As required by your company, select a Department, Job, and/or Task.
Click the checkmark in the upper-right corner.
If your supervisor has enabled the Photo Capture feature, the camera is activated on your phone, and you are prompted to take a photograph.
You can retake a photo as many times as you want, then tap Use Photo when you are ready.
IMPORTANT! If you do not see a confirmation message, do not assume that your punch has been received. Contact your supervisor or employer to confirm.
