Fingercheck integrates with many different payroll providers to ensure that exporting your timesheets is an effortless process. This article outlines how to set up an integration between Fingercheck and QuickBooks Online and how to export your timesheets once integration has been established.
Set up an export to QuickBooks Online
Log in to Fingercheck as an Administrator.
Go to the SETUP tab > Payroll > Payroll Exports.
Click Add.
In the Details screen, enter a Code and Description for your new integration.
Enter your Company ID.

From the Export Type drop-down list, select QuickBooks Online.
Click Connect to QuickBooks (next to the QuickBooks Online API field).
A new window hosted by Intuit asks you to log in to authorize access to your account.
Enter your login credentials and sign in.
A message asks for permission for Fingercheck to access your Intuit company data.
Click Authorize.
In the confirmation message you receive, copy the highlighted code to paste into Fingercheck to complete the integration.
Navigate back to the Fingercheck window, and in the pop-up message, paste the code, and Continue.
Your integration should appear in your "Payroll Exports" window.
Export your data to QuickBooks Online
Once you've set up your integration, you can easily export your timesheets to QuickBooks Online.
Make sure the short description of your earning codes matches the earning codes (or pay items) in QuickBooks Online.
Click the PAYROLL tab.
Click Export Payroll.
Choose the date range you want to export.
From the Export Type drop-down list, select Quickbooks Online.
Click Export.
You can also export specific data according to filters, such as by pay group or earning list.
