How to Deactivate an Administrator or Supervisor Login

If you want to deactivate an Admin or Supervisor login, follow these simple instructions.

As organizations evolve, the need to manage access privileges becomes crucial. In this article, we'll walk you through the steps to deactivate such elevated permissions. Please note that this process is irreversible, so it's essential to proceed with caution.


Deactivate an Admin or Supervisor

  1. Log onto your Fingercheck account and go to the SETUP tab.

  2. From the drop-down menu on the top left of the page, select Security > Security Users.

  3. Click the employee's name to open the employee's Detail window.

  4. Click the hamburger icon on the right, and select Deactivate.

  5. In the pop-up window that appears, click OK.

  6. To view your deactivated users, click on the drop-down menu and select View Deactivated Users.
