The basic steps are as follows:

  2. Complete the setup wizard, which asks general questions about your company.
To begin using Fingercheck, you must complete the required fields, which are marked with an asterisk (*).

  3. Set up basic policies (such as break and overtime policies).

  4. If you are using Fingercheck time clocks, set them up for your employees.

  9. Have your employees use Fingercheck to punch in and punch out.

  10. Your Fingercheck representative will assist you with processing your first payroll.

  11. Continue refining your Fingercheck configuration to get more out of the software.

    • Compartmentalize your expenses by defining cost center levels and cost centers, jobs, locations, positions, and/or tasks.

    • Set up more policies as needed (for example, absence, accrual, job fencing, or exception policies).
