What are Quick Views?

Quick Views let you save your preferred schedule setup: filters, groupings, toggles, and more, so you can quickly reapply them later. Instead of rebuilding the same schedule view every time, you can toggle between saved configurations with just a click.

How to set up Quick Views

  1. Go to Schedule > Weekly View.

  2. Set up your schedule view with the filters and groupings you prefer.

  3. Open the hamburger menu and select Save Current View

4. Give it a name - enter a unique name (up to 50 characters, no special characters).

5. Show Quick Views from the hamburger menu to open the banner.

6. Click a Quick View link in the banner to apply it.

7. Use the home icon to reset to the default.

8.Rename or delete saved Quick Views using the pencil icon.

Using Quick Views

1. Save a Quick View

  • Go to Schedule > Weekly View.

  • Open the hamburger menu and select Save Current View.

  • Enter a unique name (up to 50 characters, no special characters).

  • Each user can save up to 20 Quick Views.

  • Click Save View

Your saved view may include (depending on your choices):

  • View By (Employee, Cost Center, Job, Task)

  • Group By

  • All applied filters/toggles (e.g., Open Shifts, Unpublished, sorting)

  • Employee filter

2. Access & Apply Quick Views

  • From the hamburger menu, select Show Quick Views.

  • A banner will appear at the top of the schedule showing all your saved Quick Views as clickable links.

  • If there are too many to fit, a More dropdown will display the extra views.

  • Click a Quick View name to apply the saved configuration to the current week instantly.

3. Reset to Default View

  • The banner includes a home icon.

  • Click it to reset all filters and sorting to the default.

  • Your current View By selection will remain unchanged.

4. Manage Quick Views (Rename/Delete)

  • On the banner, click the pencil icon (edit) to open the Quick View management modal.

  • From the pop-up, you can:

    • Rename a Quick View: Click the pencil icon in the modal, edit the name, and save. Names must be unique, under 50 characters, and use only allowed characters.

    • Delete a Quick View: Click the trash icon (delete) in the pop-up. A confirmation will appear; once confirmed, the view will be permanently removed.

    • No editing of saved filters: Only the name can be changed; filters and configurations are locked once saved

It is important to note that saved Quick Views cannot be edited for filters or settings. They can be only renamed or deleted. If you want to edit a quick view, create and save a new configuration, then delete the old one.
