Multi-select shifts saves you from having to open and edit each shift individually.

Why use multi-shift edits?

  • Save time: Make changes in bulk instead of one by one.

  • Stay consistent: Apply the same updates across multiple shifts.

  • Reduce errors: Avoid missed or mismatched edits.

Edit multiple shifts

1. Turn on Multi-select shifts

  • From the schedule view, toggle on Multi-select shifts.

  • Select the shifts you want to edit. You can click shifts one by one or use Select All to grab every shift in your current view.

  • Use filters and tabs before selecting shifts to target the right group.

  • Once the toggle is on, the multi-shifts action bar will appear on the bottom of the schedule.

2. Open Bulk Edit

  • Once shifts are selected, click Edit in the action bar.

  • The Edit pop-up will open with all editable fields.

3. Make your updates

  • Fields default to “No Change” so nothing is overwritten unless you update it.

  • You can edit:

    • Start & end time

    • Shift color

    • Notes

    • Shift tasks

    • Job, department, cost centers, master profile

  • Some fields cannot be changed in bulk (employee, date, policy, punch rules).

  • Notes and tasks can only be added in bulk.

4. Save your changes

  • The Save button activates only if at least one valid change is made.

  • Click Save to apply changes to all selected shifts.

  • A success message confirms the update.

  • Simply untoggle Multi-select to return to the main schedule.
