What is a punch request?
A punch request lets you correct or add time to your timecard when:
You forgot to clock in/out
You clocked in at the wrong time
You missed a punch for a scheduled shift
You can submit punch requests to your admin or supervisor directly from your timecard or the Requests tab in the mobile app.
Types of punch requests
Request Type | When to Use |
Add Punch | You forgot to clock in/out. |
Change Punch | You punched in or out at the wrong time |
How to submit a punch request
Option 1:
Go to the Requests tab in the side menu
Tap + to create a new request
Choose Punch Request, then select:
Add Punch → Enter the time of the missed punch
Change Punch → Select the existing punch and enter the correct time
Add an optional note
Tap Submit
Option 2:
Go to the Time Card
Select the desired pay period and day
Tap anywhere on the punch screen to create a new request
A prompt asks if you want to Change Punch Request
If yes, then select:
Add Punch → Enter the time of the missed punch
Change Punch → Select the existing punch and enter the correct time
Add an optional note
Tap Submit
You'll see a confirmation message and receive an email when your request is approved or denied.
Request Statuses
You can check the status of your punch request in the Requests tab .
Status | What It Means |
Pending | Waiting on admin approval |
Approved | The time was added to your timecard |
Declined | The request was not accepted |
You’ll be notified by email whenever the status changes.
