Employees can now send notes to supervisors through Fingercheck. This can be done online or via the mobile app by sending general requests (not to be confused with absence requests).

General requests can be grouped under request types like "Long Break," "In Early," "Overtime Request," etc. Whether it's a request to come in early to get work done or to take a long break, employees can directly message their supervisors for approval.

Send a general request

  1. Log in to your employee portal on app.fingercheck.com.

  2. On your dashboard, click the plus sign (+) in the General request section.

    The Request pop-up window appears.

  3. Select a Request Type.

  4. Enter a Request Date.

  5. In the Note field, enter a description and explanation for your request.

  6. Click Save.

The request appears on your dashboard. Your supervisor will receive an email about the request and will also see your request on their dashboard.
