A pay card is an easy and convenient way to access your paycheck without having a bank account. The pay card is a Mastercard debit card. Every time you get paid, your pay can be loaded onto the pay card. You can use it immediately anywhere Mastercard debit cards are accepted and at all ATMs.

During the self-onboarding process, new employees will see an option to request a pay card.

If you are an existing employee and want to request a pay card, complete the following procedure.


How to request a pay card

  1. Log in to Fingercheck.

  2. Click the MY ACCOUNT tab > Direct Deposit.

  3. Click Add > Request Pay Card.


    The Add Pay Card pop-up window appears.

  4. From the Calculation Type drop-down list, select one of the following options:

    • Flat: Select this option to specify an amount to be added to the card each pay period. The remaining balance will be put into your paycheck or direct deposit.

    • Percent: Select this option to specify a percentage of your pay to be added to the card each pay period. The remaining balance will be put into your paycheck or direct deposit.

    • RemainOnCheck: Select this option to specify the amount you would like on your paycheck or direct deposit each week. The remaining balance will be put on the pay card.

  5. In the Amount field, enter the amount or percentage you want to apply to the pay card.
    For example, if you selected Percent in the previous field and you want to receive 50% of your pay on the pay card, enter 50. On payday, the pay card will have 50% of your pay, and you will receive a paycheck or direct deposit for the other 50%.

  6. If you want to have the pay card sent to an address other than the address in your profile, click Add a new address, and enter the required information.

  7. Click Continue.

  8. Click OK in the Success pop-up window that appears.

    The pay card is added to your list of direct deposit accounts.
