Use a PayCard, or payroll debit card, to access your paycheck without having a bank account.

A Fingercheck PayCard is a hassle-free and convenient solution for accessing your paycheck without needing a bank account. Every time you get paid, the funds can be loaded onto your PayCard, which is a Mastercard debit card.

The best part? You can use the PayCard, or Payroll Debit Card, anywhere that accepts Mastercard debit cards, including ATMs! Enjoy the flexibility and convenience of the PayCard for all your financial needs.


When Should I Get a PayCard?

With the Fingercheck PayCard, you're in control of your finances! You get to choose how much to load onto your card. Whether you want to load some or all of your paycheck onto your PayCard, the decision is entirely yours.

Alternatively, if you prefer the flexibility of Pay On-Demand, you can choose to load your PayCard only when you receive Pay On-Demand.

Ready to get your hands on a PayCard? Simply ask your employer if they have a card on hand. If they already have a card available, you'll be able to receive one right away! However, if they don't have any available, we will promptly mail you a PayCard, and you can expect it to arrive within 7–10 business days.


Request a PayCard from Your Fingercheck Employee Portal

  1. Log in to Fingercheck.

  2. Click the MY ACCOUNT tab > Direct Deposit.

  3. Click Add > Request Pay Card.


    The Add PayCard pop-up window appears.

  4. Confirm that the address listed should be used to send your PayCard. If you want to have the PayCard sent to a different address, click Change shipping address.

    1. Enter the required information.

    2. Click Save.

  5. Enter the amount from your paycheck you would like to load on your PayCard.

    1. Percent (%): Select this option to specify a percentage of your pay to be added to the card each pay period. The remaining balance will be put into your paycheck or direct deposit.

    2. Flat ($): Select this option to specify a flat dollar amount to be added to the card each pay period. The remaining balance will be put into your paycheck or direct deposit.

  6. Click Request PayCard.

  7. Click OK in the Success pop-up window that appears.

    The pay card is added to your list of direct deposit accounts.

If you want to use your PayCard for Pay On-Demand only, then leave the paycheck amount fields blank.

Please note: if you add a PayCard to your already existing direct deposit setup, you will need to review the sequence.

Direct deposit sequence

If you elected to have a portion of your paycheck loaded onto your PayCard, you will want to review whether the sequence number listed is a lower number than the direct deposit for your net pay.

Update the Sequence by editing the direct deposit records.


Request a PayCard on the Mobile App

You can easily request a PayCard from the Fingercheck mobile app.

  1. Log in to the Fingercheck Mobile app as an employee.

  2. Tap the hamburger icon to open the menu.

  3. Select Profile.

  4. Select Compensation/Pay.

  5. Select Add.

  6. Select PayCard.

  7. Select Request Pay Card.

Please note that you can reorder the sequence of accounts by selecting and dragging an account.


Enter your PayCard Details in Fingercheck

You can re-add your Fingercheck PayCard at any time from your Employee Portal. All you need are the routing and account numbers that were included with the card when it was mailed to you.

  1. Log in to Fingercheck.

  2. Click the MY ACCOUNT tab > Direct Deposit.

  3. Click Add+ > Add Direct Deposit.

  4. Complete the required sections marked with “*” an asterisk.

  5. From the Calculation Type drop-down list, select one of the following options:

    1. Flat: Select this option to specify a flat dollar amount to be added to the card each pay period. The remaining balance will be put into your paycheck or direct deposit.

    2. Percent: Select this option to specify a percentage of your pay to be added to the card each pay period. The remaining balance will be put into your paycheck or direct deposit.

    3. RemainOnCheck: Select this option to specify the entire amount or the remainder of your paycheck that will be put on the pay card.

  6. In the Amount field, enter the amount or percentage of your paychecks that you want deposited to the pay card.
    For example, if you selected Percent in the previous field and you want to receive 50% of your pay on the pay card, enter 50. On payday, the pay card will have 50% of your pay, and you will receive a paycheck or direct deposit for the other 50%.

    1. If you want to use your PayCard for Pay On-Demand only, then leave the paycheck amount fields blank.

  7. Click Save.


Load Your PayCard Faster with Pay On-Demand

If you’re looking to load your PayCard when you request only Pay On-Demand, then leave the paycheck amount fields blank when adding the PayCard to your direct Deposit.

The PayCard allows you to receive your payment in as little as 15 minutes.

How can I check my balance?

You can check your balance anytime by calling (877) 380-0980 or by visiting www.rapidfs.com.

What should I do if I lose my card?

Your money is protected by Networks Zero Fraud Liability Policy. Call rapid! at (877) 380-0980 to report the card as lost or stolen and request a new card.

If you have lost your Payroll Debit Card, you should delete the PayCard from your direct deposit setup in Fingercheck under My Account > Setup.

Can I re-add my PayCard after I deleted it?

Absolutely! You can re-add your PayCard under your direct deposit setup the same way you would add a bank account for direct deposit. From My Account > Setup click +Add and enter the Fingercheck PayCard routing and account number.

When will I have access to my paycheck on my PayCard?

Your pay will typically be available by 10:00 a.m. ET in the morning on your payday. You can check your balance then or anytime by calling Rapid! at (877) 380-0980 or by visiting www.rapidfs.com.

Can I add additional funds to my PayCard?

The PayCard is fully portable. You can take your card to any other employer (second or part-time job) and sign up for a direct deposit payment. In addition, you can also use your Payroll Debit Card as a direct deposit for your income tax refund, social security benefit, military pension, or any other payment. Access your direct deposit account number by logging into www.rapidfs.com.

What is the difference between the personalized Pay Card and the instant issue PayCard?

The first card you receive is the instant-issue PayCard that has a Mastercard or Visa brand mark. You can call Rapid! Customer Support (877) 380-0980, to activate your card and request an upgrade to a personalized card with your name embossed on it at no additional cost. When the personalized PayCard arrives in the mail (7–10 business days), the instant issue card remains fully usable until you activate your new personalized card.
