1. To complete the E-Verify integration, begin by logging into your Fingercheck account and your E-Verify account.
Please use your most recent Program Admin ID to log in if you had to create a new E-Verify account because your existing E-Verify account was not Web Services-enabled.
Please refer to THIS before beginning this process if you need to confirm that your E-Verify account is already Web Services enabled.
2. After logging into your Fingercheck account, please go to the E-Verify setup page by going to Setup, then Human Resources, then Advanced I-9 and E-Verify, and clicking Start setup.

3. Begin plugging in the required information into Fingercheck. Each screenshot shows where to find the information in your E-Verify account.
Where to find the Company ID:
Where to find the Program Administrator ID, name, phone number, and email:
4. Web Services Credentials: Please use the screenshots below to see how to create your Web Services ID and password (new account) or where to find your Web Services username (existing account).
Start by clicking on your name in the top right corner, clicking “Company Account”, and then “Manage Users” in the dropdown menu.
If you have a NEW Web Services-enabled account:
Once on the Manage Users page, click the +Add User button
Enter the email address used during E-Verify enrollment, select the User Role from the dropdown menu as Web Services Access, and click Next.
Provide the required User Information (this will be your name and the phone number used during E-Verify enrollment)
After you have provided your User Information, the Web Services User ID will auto-populate in the last field. You can use the ID that is autogenerated, or you can override this and create your own. *If creating your own Web Services ID, it must be eight characters and may be letters, numbers, or a combination of both. The user ID is not case-sensitive. User ID examples: “USER1234” OR “12345678”
Click “Create User Account” after you finish filling in the User Information and Web Services User ID fields.
The next screen will confirm that a new user was created with the Web Access user role. You now must change the password associated with the Web Services ID by clicking “Change Password” at the bottom of the screen. (The Web Services password has no impact on the one used to log in to your E-Verify account)
If you have an EXISTING Web Services-enabled account:
Once on the Manage Users page, click on your Web Services username. Please be sure to select the username assigned to your name and ensure it has “Web Services Access” as the User Role status
After clicking on your Web Services username, copy and paste the user ID into the Web Services username field within Fingercheck.
The final step is updating your Web Services password in E-Verify and adding it into Fingercheck. Start by scrolling to the bottom of your Web Services User Information page, and click Change Password.
5. After creating or updating your Web Services User ID and password, add the same credentials to the Web Services fields and continue. Fingercheck will check your details with E-Verify and show the connection status: successful, pending, or failed. If it failed, check your details and try again.

Note: To prevent future issues, remember that E-Verify requires periodic password updates for security purposes. Make a note of your password expiration date and update it proactively to avoid disruptions.
6. Once the status shows successful, you're done. If it doesn't, contact Fingercheck Support at [SUPPORT CONTACT].
