Our biometric clocks accept both fingerprint and password punches, and setting up a password is easy. An administrator can assign employee passwords by clicking into their employees' profiles and entering a password in the "Clock Info" section of their profile. Here are the quick and easy steps to take:
- Log onto your Fingercheck account and go to the “Employee” tab. Select the employee you want to assign a password to.
- From the left sidebar menu, click on "Clock Info," then within the dialog box that appears, create a password made of numbers consisting of no more than 8 digits next to "Clock Password." Click "Save" to save the password.
- You'll need to send all the employees you do this for to the clock. Click on the "Employee" tab and check the employee(s) you would like to send. Then click on "Quick Actions" and select "Send Employee To Clock" from the drop-down menu that appears.
- Then select the clock terminal and click "Send Employees."
Now your employees will be able to use your time clock's keypad to enter their password and clock in. To clock in they simply, walk to the clock, enter their employee clock number, press OK, and then enter their password.
