  1. First, visit and login to the Fingercheck app or portal. You will want to select "Setup" from the main menu on the left-hand side to open the main screen of the Setup tab.

  2. On the main screen of the Setup page, type the word “deductions” into the search bar labeled “Search Setup” and select “Deductions” from the list of available results.

  3. On the “Deductions” page, select “Add” to create a new deduction code.

  4. Next, browse through the list of pre-built “Deductions” to take a look at the variety of benefits-specific deduction codes to choose from (Employer-Sponsored Health Insurance Benefits, 401-k, etc.)

    1. Select the deduction code type that you're looking for from the list of available pre-built options OR choose "Add Custom" to create a custom deduction code.

  5. Finally, complete the required fields and click “Save.
