If you have a large company with many employees, you can forego the manual action of adding employees detail by detail and import a master list of your employees' details in the form of a spreadsheet instead.
Here is how to do it:
Log in, go to your "Employee Tab" and click the “Import Employees” button to download a blank template spreadsheet that is compatible with Fingercheck.
Start adding your employees into the correct columns. The required fields include first name, last name, employee number, gender (“Male” or “Female” must be typed out), employee status (which must be typed out as “active” or letter A), and if your employees will be clocking in at a time clock, clock number.
If you are using a payroll company, you may want to use the same number as your payroll company to identify your employee. The clock number can be the same as your employee number, however, clock numbers cannot be alphanumeric so you'll want to remove any letters from the number.
Save the spreadsheet and upload it using the "Import Employees" button. Once you successfully choose your file and upload it, you should see your new employee immediately on your employee list.
Now you're all done!
