With Fingercheck's new payroll service, clients who sign up for Fingercheck360 can run their payroll in the same app they use to track their employee's time! What's more, they can even use their smart phone to do so by downloading the Fingercheck mobile app. The app can be downloaded for iPhone and Android phone models, and you'll need to make sure that you have a supervisor login with payroll enabled in order for you to be able to access the payroll function on the mobile app. Here's a quick guide on how to get started once you're all set up:
- Within the dashboard, open the side menu and tap on "Run Payroll." Then tap on the pay period you want to run payroll for. In the next screen, review the payroll details for accuracy which you can edit by tapping. You can also add or remove any scheduled deductions or earnings.
- The second step is to review payment for each employee. You can adjust hours, pay amounts, bonuses or commissions, as well as adding any deductions, simply by tapping. Once you're finished modifying, tap "Preview." You'll be shown a preliminary overview of the total cash required for the payroll with a full numeric break-down, with total counts of employees, checks, and direct deposits. You can click into an employee and see a full detail of their deductions. Finally, tap "Approve" and confirm that you want to process payroll.
- A message will confirm that you have successfully completed payroll.
